We are a non-profit community theater, located on Fort Lee Army base in the Tri-Cities area of Virginia.  No matter what your experience is, we invite you to come share your love of the theater with us!


Mainstage Offerings

We proudly produce some of the best in musical and non-musical theater, including Hello Dolly!, White Christmas, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Cinderella, 9 to 5, and A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline in our recent seasons.



We are one of the only local theaters offering year-round theatrical experiences for youth, with 2 productions during the season and an annual summer camp!

YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN follows the typical day in the lives of Charles Shultz’s beloved PEANUTS characters. Full of fun and popular musical numbers, the show gained critical acclaim after it opened off Broadway in 1967. After its successful Off Broadway run, the show opened on Broadway in 1971 for a limited run. In 1998 the show was reimagined and a Brand New Broadway revival opened in 1999.

Spend some time with Charlie and his friends from the bright, uncertain start to the starlit and hopeful end. This delightful cast will take you on a tour through lonely bag lunches, faulty kites, book reports, glee club rehearsals, and joyful suppertimes. The cast includes Playhouse veterans Adam Smith, Caitlin Nolan, Evan Nunnery, Abigail Landrum, Joshua Crawford, and newcomer, Amy Ruffin.YOUR’E A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN is directed by Frank Foster with Music Direction by Steve Raybould and Choreography by Sara Burks. The creative team also includes Mark Souza (Costume Design), Cindy Warren(Lighting Design), Frank Foster (Set Design), John Redling (Sound Design), and Lynn and Kim Hockaday (Properties). The production is stage managed by Rachel Davis. Audiences of all ages will relish in the “Happiness” found in YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN.YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN performances are Fridays and Saturdays, May, 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 at 8 p.m., and Sundays, May 7, 14 and 21 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $13 (adults) and $7 (youth).
